I can normally make it happen by taking a tight right turn and accelerating through the turn. Car is an automatic.2014 OB 2.5i premium with 11k miles, original conti pro tires with good even wear. 1. It sounds like humming, but oscillating--meaning it sounds like hum-silence-hum-silence at about 4 hums per second. 2. Noise is most noticeable at 65mph, gets higher in pitch and louder with speed. 3. Does not change with engine RPM. 4. Went out last night and this noise was coming from the rear end underneath (turn up the volume). I started the car, drove it around the block and pulled back in, shut off and noise was gone. Look for a lot of grease around the rubber boot areas.
