She's literally the perfect follower except for the goddam necromancy, and nothing I've tried prevents her from raising the dead. It really helps ‘flesh out’ Serana so to speak, fixes tons of her bugs, adds new dialogue options based on the things you’ve said to her in the past. The lines feel like a natural add on to vanilla and are very well done, I would definitely recommend keeping this even if you don't like the newer versions of SDA.
