Save. True -- The OP asked for the best way to get from the Hyatt SFO to Milpitas. The best way imho is by car -- as our transit system in the bay area is mostly hub to hub based and getting from the hubs to the spokes involves a lot of transfers.There is no need to rent a car to go to Muir Woods, so long as the shuttle is running. From Fisherman's Wharf, you need to make your way over to Van Ness Avenue to catch Golden Gate Transit Route 150.
