If you don't dual-specialize (I.E., Str/Int for the Royal Greatsword/Meteoric Ore Katana, or Dex/Int for the Moonveil/Bastard's Stars), they're trash for damage. There need to be more weapons that actually can use Faith/Int as their main scaling.

Imo, the brick hammer is solid. Grafted blade greatsword is a good early game option.
