Jul 28, 2022 · Gwynevere. Gwynevere is a character in Dark Souls. She is the Princess of Sunlight and daughter of Lord Gwyn. She gives the Lordvessel to the player and allows them to join the Princess' Guard Covenant . The Gwynevere you see in game is an illusion created by Gwyndolin in order to manipulate the player. He is, gameplay-wise. Lore-wise, he's really powerful. In a battle, he suits more as a glass cannon spamming his powerful spells while his illusions and retainers delay the enemy. I don't think this translated very well into DS1's gameplay, resulting in his fight being hilariously easy. I would love to have a fight with a full power Gwyndolin.So when I die by gwyndolin I get sent to the Anor Lodno bonfire even though the last bonfire I rested at was Firelink. Wouldn't be a huge problem if it wasn't so that I killed the firekeeper of Anor Londo after leaving the princess chamber. So the bonfire isn't lit and I cannot travel from it.It's pretty much a DEX/INT build with the darkmoon bow and a bunch of sorceries if you're mimicking how they fight. Or you can rest at gwyndolins bonfire, go up the stairs and rotate the lever, then use homeward bone to return to the bonfire. If you die, the rotating tower is in position for you to go straight to the gwyndolin again.If you haven't killed Gwyndolin, be sure to use the black eye orb and avenge the firekeeper.
